Gremlin Wiring is a motorcycle retailer who specializes in developing simplified wiring harnesses by reverse engineering the wiring system of Harley Davidson motorcycles. These simplified wiring kits in return allow customers to remove all of the unnecessary wires and controls that come from factory model bikes, allowing for a clean looking chopper style motorcycle.
I was brought on by Gremlin Wiring to design a full rebrand that best highlighted the overall journey of the company. We agreed that keeping a clean simple layout would work best to parallel the clean lines and simplicity of the product sold. Upon doing research, I felt like it was important for Gremlin Wiring to stand out from other companies that sold Harley Davidson specific products. Instead of focusing on loud colors and imagery, I chose to let the product and brand story do the talking by using light tones and highlights.
CUSTOM WIRING DIAGRAMS
What makes Gremlin Wiring unique is their thought and care for the consumer. They wanted to create a wiring diagram that would be an insert in each product depending on the year of Harley Davidson. As each model of bike is different, we spent some time collaborating on designing and illustrating unique diagrams that were easy to follow for any individual regardless of their experience when it came to working on motorcycles.
ILLUSTRATION
Gremlin Wiring understands that their is a lifestyle that comes with riding motorcycles. They wanted to create some custom illustrations that could be used on a number of assets including t-shirts, koozies, stickers, and other swag materials.
WEB DESIGN
As a fully online business it was the utmost importance to design a website that was clean and to the point. We wanted to showcase the wiring kits as well as add video tutorials of how to install the product to better help the consumer
